1863 Civil War Token. F-43/388a, Rarity 2, Millions For Defence. NGC graded MS-65 Brown. Struck in copper. An exceptionally well preserved example struck in high relief. Now, both surfaces are nicely toned with a couple of traces of red color at selected border areas.

1863 Civil War Token. F-97/389a, Rarity 2, Millions For Contractors. NGC graded AU-58. A somewhat crudely prepared issue that was struck in various metals including copper (this piece, Rarity 2). Light wera is present as are traces of original red mint color.

1864 Civil War Token. F-47/332a, Rarity 1, Liberty - Our Army. NGC graded MS-66 Brown. Struck in copper. An unusually well preserved example with signs of mint red still remaining. A crudely prepared die pairing, the obverse die is at its life's end with severe cracking evident; the reverse die was severely rusted at the time this token was struck. Conditionally rare in this high grade.

1864 Civil War Token. F-128/289b, Rarity 3, Lincoln & Union. NGC graded XF Details, Environmental Damage. Struck in brass. An unusual and highly elusive die pairing. The brass combination is by far the most available, the other metals are listed as Rarity 7 to Rarity 9. The mostly brick-red surfaces are lightly porous and display brass-colored design highpoints. Civil war token collectors will pay close attention to this lot.

A rare, seldom-offered Civil War storecard.
