Lot 2783		1864 Civil War Token. F-47/332a, Rarity 1, Liberty - Our Army. NGC graded MS-66 Brown. Struck in copper. An unusually well preserved example with signs of mint red still remaining. A crudely prepared die pairing, the obverse die is at its life's end with severe cracking evident; the reverse die was severely rusted at the time this token was struck. Lot 2784		1864 Civil War Token. F-128/289b, Rarity 3, Lincoln & Union. NGC graded XF Details, Environmental Damage. Struck in brass. An unusual and highly elusive die pairing. The brass combination is by far the most available, the other metals are listed as Rarity 7 to Rarity 9. The mostly brick-red surfaces are lightly porous and display brass-colored design highpoints.
